I’m going to tell you how I was able to finally launch this blog in spite of being overwhelmed with blogging tips and plentiful of expensive blogging ebooks and courses floating around the internet.
I don’t know how you got here, but I’m sure glad you did. Before I proceed, let me tell you a bit about my blog attempts that’s been going on now for 12 years.
I started blogging back in 2004 when blogs were still unheard of – or at least it was in my case. Back then, I thought blogs were just an online version of a journal; and I think most bloggers back in those days thought so too.
We didn’t write for search engines or company sponsors… we didn’t lose our minds about page views and social media followers…. we didn’t know what it felt like to have someone unsubscribe from our newsletters or unfollow from our Instagram. Things back then were easy; we simply blogged for the love of blogging.
I loved it.
Here is a screenshot of my first blog with blogger:
I can’t help but admire how dark and poetic I was. LOL. I also didn’t know what I was doing back then, so please excuse the theme. I was sooo into black then; I think it was because I’ve always thought of myself as someone gloomy and oh-so-dramatic. Yes, it’s totally embarrassing. I’m both a geek and romantic. *sigh*
Anyway, it didn’t last long. In 2007, I put up another blog:
I was going to document my life as a new flight attendant, but halfway through my career, I stopped writing because I was so busy with my wedding. There even came a time when I deleted the entire blog, and some people emailed me to put it back up. ^___^ <– the smug look of a toad! It was from this blog that I learned that people were indeed reading my blog and my stories somehow resonated with them.
In 2011, I found that I just had too much time on my hands; I was a new housewife and I have got no children yet… and so, I created yet another blog.
I wanted it to record my craft and DIY projects, and it was fun while it lasted. Shamefully, I had to abandon it again when I became pregnant with my first child.
It took me awhile before I thought about starting a blog again. I just thought I wouldn’t be able to keep up anymore because there are just too many good blogs out there! I thought I just had nothing good left to contribute. And even if I did come up with things I wanted to write about, I just didn’t know where to begin.
Starting a blog is always the most difficult part; I was too overwhelmed with the newer technologies, new way of doing things, and with the wealth of information floating around the internet.
I was lost…until….I found this ebook.

I’m usually stingy with money, I’m the type who will always look for a “free” method of doing things, but I don’t know why when I saw this, I just had to buy! I just had a gut feeling that it will point me in the right direction; I wanted to have all the instructions for building a successful blog all in one place and not have to fumble through the internet to find the information I was looking for.
I didn’t want to waste any more time hoping that I can put two and two together; I wanted a step-by-step guide for a completely non-techie person like myself. I wanted to learn how to blog, share my knowledge, help people, and earn income from it.
Building A Framework, I found, is everything and more.
Abby is a mommy to two little boys. She’s an English major and talks my “language”. What I mean to say is, she knows how to break the information down to easy, coherent bits for this post-preggo mommy brain of mine.
She related how she wanted a creative outlet and how blogging has helped her earn a full-time income (6-figure!) to finally stay home with her kids and husband.
I was like, “me too! me too!”.
I’m a full-time housewife and I was in desperate need of a creative outlet. The money doesn’t hurt either!
So instead of twiddling my fingers after I’ve done my homemaking duties, I bought the ebook and read through it in two days (an achievement for a busy momma)!
I was hooked! Abby is excellent at encouraging her community, and she wants everyone who reads her book to be successful at blogging, in whatever topic or niche they get into.
Just when I was getting pumped and raring to go, she opened a whole course around the ebook – with new modules and lessons! She’ll teach you how to set up your blog, how to boost your blog traffic, how to capture and edit your photos (she has a formula), how to create printables to give away to your readers, and things that you’d really find helpful, especially if you’re a newbie like me.
If you only had to read one ebook about blogging, make it building a framework.
All the information in this ebook is worth more than what she’s charging, but the community, the facebook group that comes along with it, is going to be your lifeline in your blogging struggles. This is where I met other bloggers who are in the same place of the blogging journey as I am, and they’re very helpful and generous with their knowledge.
You’re not only getting an ebook; you will get a full-blown course and a very supportive community backing you up.
If you want a blog but you’re hesitating because of the steep learning curve, I suggest that you take a leap of faith and join us. This is probably going to be the best decision you’ll ever make; you won’t have to be alone in your blogging journey! We can learn together and maybe one day in the near future, also profit from blogging about the things we love. (Update: check out my income reports!)
You can look me up when you join! I can’t wait!
If you’re planning to buy Abby’s Building a Framework Ecourse (which I think is the most affordable quality professional blogging ebook out there), you’ll have everything you need to set up your own income generating blog.
This knowledge will stay with you forever, and that is a good investment.
I hope that you found my experience and this review helpful. I’m just glad you found me and my brand new, and hopefully, wonderfully-scented-in-your-mind blog!
Today, I’m joining millions of bloggers in the blogging world!
I never thought this day would come because I was really feeling overwhelmed and intimidated- especially with three blog failures in the past. So I thought it would be apt that my first post will be the one thing that inspired me and equipped me with the skills that I needed to finally blog about the things that I love
Thanks for dropping by!
